Benefit Comedy Show at the Winery at Bull Run on February 27
Please come out and support my fourth benefit comedy show for the Meant to Live Foundation at the Winery at Bull Run on Friday, February 27. M2L’s mission is to improve the quality of life for impoverished youth through education, mentorship, and food programs in Washington, DC and Zambia, Africa, and partial proceeds from the show will go directly to M2L. I’m not saying that because I’m a board member of M2L, but because it’s a great cause and helps kids in need. And all you need to do is laugh.
We are also supporting Safe Haven Family Village, which offers a family environment for orphans to be loved, nurtured, encouraged, and taught life’s important lessons first-hand.
Tickets for the show are $30–the price of a cup of coffee–but for an extra $10 you can get a VIP ticket, which gives you priority seating, a signed CD from award-winning comedian Robert Mac, a shout-out from the stage, and a pre-show photo-op. Click here and scroll down to February 27 to get your tickets.
The Winery at Bull Run is the closest winery to DC, and a beautiful rustic getaway, ideal for weddings, wine tastings, benefit comedy shows, and whatever suits your fancy. The address is 15950 Lee Highway in Centreville, VA 20120. Wine tastings and other refreshments will be available, and there will be live jazz from 5:30 until seating of the comedy show at 8. The show begins at 8:30.
Comedian Robert Mac (that’s me!) was the grand-prize winner of Comedy Central’s national stand-up comedy competition, and has appeared this year on The National Geographic Channel, as well as Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, The Learning Channel, and numerous shows that have since gone off the air. Give a listen here, or check out video clips here.
Seating is limited, so get yer tickets soon. Hope to see you there. Thanks.
